DescriptionOctagonal "Union" Plate. Lacy pressed colorless sailing ship (incuse) at center with 13 stars and inscription "UNION"; shoulder has 4 sprays of oak leaves on stippled ground; octagonal cap ring with 8 large bull's eyes at corners and 3 smaller bull's eyes between them on each side alternating with stippled points.
