DescriptionAmphora. Core formed. Elongated ovoid body with a cylindrical neck and a narrow, slightly flaring rim of blue ground decorated with yellow spiral thread from rim to shoulder. Body is combed (feathering) with white threads and a repeat of the spiral at bottom. Attached pair of blue angular handles from below rim to shoulder. Applied blue knob at end. Some weathering and pitting. Slight iridescence. Ptolemaic.
