DescriptionAmphora of core formed glass. Elongated ovoid body with a tall cylindrical neck and a narrow slightly flaring rim. Almost black ground decorated with pale yellow spiral thread from the rim to shoulder top. Then combed (feathering) over most of the body, ending with an additional spiral of pale yellow. Attached pair yellow tint angular handles from just below rim reaching above rim to shoulder top and attached knob at the bottom. Almost mint condition, some weathering and iridescence. Ptolemaic.
