DescriptionBronze jewelry box in the "Abalone" pattern with a gilt finish, four ball feet and a hinged cover. Each side of the body has an incised scroll work design that is embellished with green and dark purple enamel. The cover has the same scrollwork with enamel design. The center of the cover has a stylized grape and vine motif with thirteen discs of inlaid abalone shell representing grapes. The bottom of the cover is lined with brown velvet and the inside of the box has two partitioned trays covered with brown velvet.
