DescriptionGrinder has two parts. Bottom is saucer-like with circular projection 4.75" in diameter at center. Hole, 3/4" in diameter, perforates saucer beside projection. Projection slightly flares then forms a shallow cone on its top surface. Incised circles and striations mark surface. Top fits over cone such as a lid; it would be rotated in grinding action. Lid top in shape of truncated cone with depression at top divided by ridge to form a handle with indented areas for fingers. Short projection from one edge of lid. Surface covered with molded hatch marks in four registers.
