DescriptionTall urn stands unevenly; tall neck surrounded by molded, applied figures standing on rim. Above them is seated figure of man holding a sword and applied medallions of a flying phoenix, a horse, a snake, and a cock. A dragon twines itself around the neck. Above seated man's head is flat disc shaped area with crimped band about it and four small loops. Lid of truncated cone shape with bird finial and 4 small loops around base. Glaze is Qingpai of a soft turquoise shade where collected in crevasses. Body buff, glaze falls to foot irregularly.
