DescriptionMiniature illustration from a manuscript written by famous calligrapher Mir Imad, born at Quazvin, reached his height at the Court of Shah Abbas, the Great. Paper mildewed. Miniature unsigned but very similar to the single figures of Mirak. Rare black background for figures. Doubly inlaid in mottled paper with blue design backed by sheet with blossoms and animals.
