DescriptionBowl of blown colorless flint glass. Heavy folded flaring rim. Ground and polished "bottom". Rough pontil "inside". Probably converted from a funnel-footed salver or vessel such as a fish bowl shown in the Wing & Sumner Boston Glass Manufactory billhead. What appears to be a polished pontil on the "bottom" is a depression left from the inside of vessel.
