DescriptionDark finished brass and amber glass pine-needle utility box, from "etched metal and glass" desk set series. Markings on box are not according to Tiffany's standard practice in that patter number 800 should be included and work on box seems not of a quality that would have been released for sale. Finish should be gilt and it isn't. Possibly this is one of the imitations made by others during the 1920s -- good study example if it is a copy.Published ReferencesR. Koch, LOUIS C.
