DescriptionBud stick vase with an oval bulb. Triangularly crimped slightly flaring rim. Clear, then a thin layer of opalescent glass. Enameled with a "painting" inside a scalloped and pointed brown "frame" of a medieval lady in a forest scene (all somber colors). Five "framed" medallions of pale rose flowers, three round and one triangular on the back and one triangular on the front. Background is etched with an all-over vine design highlighted with brown and gilt (or perhaps originally all gilt, but tarnished). Polished pontil.
