DescriptionPressed colorless non-lead top hat in daisy and button pattern called "Hobnail" by Duncan. On Dec. 8, 1885, John E. Miller was issued design patent #16,409 for these hats. The largest illustrated in the Fogg catalog reprint was a celery, which measured only about 6" in length, but was similar in height.
