DescriptionPaperweight of encased lampworked glass. In a dome shape. Depicting a bouquet consisting of blue forget-me-mots (six blossoms borne on one stem and four borne on the other), a raspberry stalk bearing two pink blossoms, two ripe berries, and one unripened berry on a sandy soil-like ground. At the center is a honeybee. Underneath this ground are roots & three crouching human figures, called "root people" by the artist.

From the side the viewer can catch a glimpse of the root people (anthropomorphic figures) that the artist put on the underside of the paperweight to symbolize life under the earth.
