DescriptionBronze gilt metalwork figure in the form of Avalokitesvara. Figure has eight arms, six holding various attribures: left-trident, lotus small vase and small rectangular object; right - noose and rosary, with two hands in MUDRAS, one VARADA one ABHAYA. Wears crown like headdress with "wings" on each side, has large circular earrings, jewelled necklace, and armbands. Cascading skirt falls to bare feet. Semi precious stones inset into jewelling and crown. Gilt rubbed.
