DescriptionModel of the ship "La Santia Maria" or "Colombo." It was presented by the International Naval Review Committee Chairman, Frank Batten, to the City of Norfolk in commemoration of the visit of the Italian ships, "San Giorgio" and "San Marco," and their participation in the International Review at Hampton Roads, VA, June 1957. Mr. Frank Batten gave it to the City of Norfolk, and it in turn sent it to the Museu. The model is in a wood and beveled glass case.
