DescriptionThis is a glass sculpture of a jazz dancer. The figure is wearing a pink skirt with blue stripes, and blue jewelry. This type of object was historically termed a "blackamoor" (a European style of decorative art in which a dark-skinned, usually male, human figure is depicted in a stylized and ornate form.
