DescriptionFigure on a lion. Bodhisattva sits in lotus position on top of a stylized lotus flower which in turn rests upon the back of a lion. He wears jewelry, scarves swirl around him and he holds a ju-i scepter in his left hand. The lion has snail shell type curls around his chin, over eyes, and up each leg. His head is upraised to the left, nostrils perforated. Two large bells and a tassel on a collar around his neck. Tail is separated into wavy strands against left rump touching the stems of a lotus leaf and bud of the lotus throne on his back. Figure hollow; nostrils only opening.Unknown
