DescriptionVase has wide neck, flaring mouth, flattened bulbous body, 1.5 cm high slightly flaring foot. Interior and bottom of a thick opaque turquoise enamel; exterior of lime green glaze with graviata designs and several gold bordered reserves. Two reserves on neck contain birds flying around blossoming branches, four reserves on body contain (1) woodland scene, (2) man dancing among trees, (3) house in forest, (4) woman carrying broom standing on double gourd in the water. Enamels of designs as well as floral sprays interspersed on lime ground are done in famille rose colors. Gold mouth rim. Well repaired break at mouth is overpainted 3 cm wide and pointing downward to about 3 cm into body. Gold on mouth rim worn.
