DescriptionBowl with fairly deep sides and a scalloped, everted rim. Each scallop is perforated with a round hole. Very intricately painted design of a large temple amid towering trees below a stippled sky. Varied scrolled patterns cover the rim & two panels on the exterior. Two large reserves on exterior contain landscapes-one of a bridge over a stream, the other of a lake with a boat & torii. Both done with much gold painting. Bottom glaze, not enamelled. Glaze is cream colored.
