DescriptionThis oil on panel painting depicting Saint Catherine before her death. There are three men standing around her: two of the men wear turbans and minimal clothing, while the other is in Roman armor. She is on her knees, her hands folded in prayer facing the left side of the canvas. There is a part of a broken wheel behind her. The turbanned man in the foreground has his left hand on her head and in his right is a long sword held horizontal at his side, almost blending into the background.
