DescriptionThis is an acrylic and silk screen enamel on canvas portrait of Jack Tanzer. It is a closely-cropped bust-length portrait of the then-president of Knoedler-Maodarco art galleries. His left shoulder is turned slightly closer to the viewer putting his right side in the back of the picture plane. His right hand lays flat on his left shoulder. The background is a peachy-pink color, contrasting against the black suit and hair. In the center is his dark necktie; the bluish shirt surrounds it, with the key pattern of the shirt, visible on the wrist, almost obliterated by the acrylic paint. He smiles slightly.
