DescriptionCovered box. BOX: Rectangular trunk-like shape which is tooled in narrow vertical panels on four attached round gilded bun-like feet. Clear, enameled with a peasant country scene and landscape on three sides. The back is a floral spray. Scattered around are several various enameled bugs. Stylized floral top border in gilt. Crack at bottom around one front foot and a nick on the front side. COVER/TOP: Curved. Matching, of clear ribbed glass. Enameled with a scene of a peasant man and woman with water buckets and a floral spray and bugs. Crack at rim.
