DescriptionMeasuring 91 x 25 ½ x 23 ¼ inches (231 x 63.5 x 59 cm), Pablo Atchugarry’s bronze Cariatide is a complex sculptural abstraction of sweeping lines and sensual masses of deeply undercut folds, which together evoke the form of a standing/striding female figure. The sculpture is patinated a lustrous deep black-brown and is signed and dated on a square self- base.
