DescriptionThis is an oil on canvas painting of four members of an aristocratic Austrian family: the Dietrichsteins are shown in a park near Vienna. The canvas is unfinished but the figures still portray individuality and psychological insight, despite being undetailed. It is composed of broad, agitated brush strokes.
