DescriptionStereoscopic prints and stereoviewer. Humaliwo Chambers refers to fictional caves in Malibu, California, by the names assigned to them by the Chumash, the First Nations native to the area. The passages and caves evoke the conflicted history of the cultures occupying this area. The three portfolios or volumes that contain the 25 stereoscopic prints include I) The approach to the site II) The interiors III) Artifacts recovered from the subterranean chambers. Humaliwo Chambers is not numbered, nor is the limit of the edition indicated, but the gift editions range between 2500-5000.
