DescriptionThe goblet is a clear glass form with an enamel painted portrait of Dale Chihuly. The stem is clear glass and features three stacked roundels. The background of the bowl is a periwinkle blue and the rim is a light pink. Extending from the base to rim of one fourth of the bowl is a portrait of Dale Chihuly. He features curly hair in brown, black and white. His expression is stern and his iconic eye-path is depicted.
ProvenanceThe piece was purchased from Regal Vetro in Seattle, WA on April 30, 1992 for $400.00 by the Boroff's. The goblet then went into the Boroff’s private collection. It was gifted to the Chrysler Museum of Art in 2016.
