DescriptionThe champagne glass features a frosted glass stem and a clear circular bowl with black enamel stripes. The stripes are equally spaced and alternate between vertical or horizontal panels with circular black stripes on the underside. The patterning is classified as “B Series” within the Josef Hoffmann collection.
ProvenanceThe piece was purchased from the Neue Gallerie Museum shop for $180.00 on June 22, 2002. The goblet then went into the Boroff’s private collection.
