DescriptionBlack-and-white lithograph of four men sleeping next to each other on the ground and a broken bed, covered in jackets and blankets. One figure, at the highest point, has face paint, another has an empty bottle on the blanket on top of him. On the far left corner the edition number is written 97/120 and on the far right corner is the artist’s signature.ProvenanceThe work was in Swann’s March modern art auction. The work came from a private collector in Chicago, though there is no history on how the private collector acquired it.
