DescriptionThis is a tall flameworked glass sculpture that resembles a sort of round tower built in a “house of cards” style. The flameworked elements making up tiers are as follows, beginning at the base: playing cards topped by large silver paperclips, wavy rectangular elements painted with various wall finishes (clapboards, brick, etc.) and one window, and different types of chairs suspended at the top; yellow pencils extend from the playing cards to the chairs, as structural elements. No signature.ProvenancePurchased from Habatat Michigan 02/28/1992 by Dr. and Mrs. Dudley and Lisa Anderson
