DescriptionIconic vase, shape inspired by detail within Paolo Veronese's (Italian, 1528-88) painting in the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Annunciation (ca. 1580). Zecchin's vase was produced in at least 6 different varients (height and color); model 1633 CV 5184MVM. Inverted tear-shaped body; short, narrow neck; ribbed knop as a stem; blown foot. Light amethyst purple glass.
