DescriptionThis is a vibrant, colorful sculpture made of blown glass. Beginning at the base and moving up the sculpture, its compound form consists of a disc of bright turquoise opaque glass, a cylinder of bright pink opaque glass, two small squashed ovals of sky-blue opaque glass, a slightly larger squashed oval of bright yellow-orange opaque glass, a donut standing on end of purple opaque glass, topped by a graduated cup-shaped form of sky-blue translucent glass. Each of the individual components is hollow and was free-blown separately; components were brought back up to heat and joined together while hot to assemble the full sculpture (no glue used).
