DescriptionThis is an outdoor sculpture made of granite and glass elements, which rest on a concrete pad. The pad is eye-shaped and low to the ground. There are three separate pillars of carved and polished granite, each with a blue cast glass element near its top. Standing on Grace Street and looking at the artwork, moving from left to right: Pillar A (describing from bottom to top: granite 48” H, blue glass 7.5” H, granite 7.5” H), Pillar B (describing from bottom to top: granite 33” H, blue glass 6.5” H, granite 7.5” H), Pillar C (describing from bottom to top: granite 51.5” H, blue glass 5” H, granite 7.5” H). The pillars have slightly different, polygonal sections; one side is rounded while the other sides are angled. The cast blue glass sections appear slightly different in each of the three pillars; in Pillar A the glass appears most transparent with large air bubbles, while the glass is of a slightly different hue in Pillars B and C as well as more opaque. The granite is dark gray with lighter gray streaking.
