DescriptionA solid sculpture of glass, shaped like a cube that leans forward (i.e., a parallelepiped, or a three-dimensional figure formed by six parallelograms). From a distance it looks as though a soft, spherical, organic form of yellow, white, and orange is embedded within solid, colorless block of transparent glass. This trompe l’oeil effect is achieved by painting in two dimensions on some of the 32 flat glass panes that are laminated (glue) together.
