DescriptionRectangular bottle chest on stand. Crotch mahogany with top banded in satinwood. Deep drawer in stand. Bottom drawer has been redivided for smaller bottles. Brass fittings are probably replacements, so are many of the bottle stoppers. One stopper is missing. Twelve small bottles and twelve large blown glass bottles (bottles are of different periods). Case and stand recently refinished. John Overongton brought it from England to Philadelphia in 1807. It belonged to his father.
