DescriptionThis is an ivory figurine of a cockatoo. This is a realistic bird with slightly etched plumage in black. The bird has large rounded eyes and a curved beak. The bird is lifting its right talon toward the beak in a slightly hunched over position while the wings are half spread open. The bird rests on a red lacquer perch. The Perch has a geometric design on the horizontal bar where his weight sits and there are leaves climbing the vertical portion of the perch. The perch is also set on top of a circular ivory base.
