DescriptionAn etching and aquating made with the permission of the Bureau of Ships, U.S. Navy, Number I of U.S. Navy series. This is #6 of signed copies. The ship is shown with hull and existing superstructure partially camouflaged, a limp flag on the bow staff, two signal flags (one, with five crosses, flies in the breeze, the other below it is fouled in the halyard) hoisted on the port side of the forward mast, no aft mast, eleven guns showing, large crane near the stern, probably on dock. Small buildings may be seen on the dock between the bow and the left edge of the scene.
