DescriptionThis covered jar is of blown lead-formula glass, cut and engraved; the jar witah round domed foot, merese, ovoid body cut with six broad lobes, and a single ring at rim; the domed lid and its finial cut with six broad lobes. The lid of the jar is engraved with flowering branches, the rim and foot with a Chinese basket-weave motif, and lobes of the body with alternating pattern of exotic birds and flowering branches.
