DescriptionThis is a 'Cornucopia Prunus' Pattern Wall Cornucopia. Spirally writhen into an S curve and painted with an insect admist the flowering branches of a prunus tree growing from one side, a detached flowering branch and another insect by the scrolled end, and the rim molded with a scroll and vertical lobes above a band or whorls and beneath a band of tight scrolls at the wavy edge, the backplate pierced with two holes for suspension. Pseudo-Meissen crossed swords mark and a letter g in underglaze-blue. Scrolled end has a slight discoloration.
