DescriptionThis is a LATTIMO blue vase with applied white, serpentine formed handles and as applied white rim. This vase appears to be a combination of the work of Napoleone Martinuzzi and Tommaso Buzzi. The shape and handles are reminiscent of Martinuzzi whereas the color combination is reminiscent of Buzi. The piece does have a later signature which leads towards an attribution to Buzzi. The shape of the vase is identical to Ill. 18 in NAPOLEONE MARTINUZZI, though the technique is different.
