DescriptionMahogany sideboard surmounted by a glass four-door cabinet. Thought to have been made in Norfolk, Va. Handles were removed soon after it came to the museum. This piece is said to have been used in a Yorktown tavern prior to the Revolutionary War and has been in the Swan Tavern at the Yorktown Restoration for the past twenty-five years.
