DescriptionWhite linen center quilted in linking crescents over which have been applied with button-hole stitch in silk-a grape vine with grape leaves and baskets of flowers. Brown, rose, and red predominate. Two borders. Quilt is filled with wool and backed and bound with white linen. This quilt came to Miss Walke thru the Tazewell line and is thought to have been made by Anne Nivison Tazewell (Mrs. Littleton Waller Tazewell), wife of the Virginia governor.
