DescriptionOval bowl. Blown in tortoise shell (using yellow glass rather than the silver stain mentioned in the Francis Pohl process) in rather free oval form with 4 applied colorless feet; very heavy; polished pontil. (Stevens and Williams made tortoise shell in the 1930s).
