DescriptionUpholstered sofa with serpentine back and scrolled arms. The sofa has six legs: the three in front are simple square Marlborough legs with lightly chamfered inner corners, while the rear square legs curve backward to provide support. Rectangular stretchers run between front and rear legs and between the rear legs. Front stretchers are set back approximately six inches and mortised into the side and central front-to-back stretchers with half-lapped tenons.
