DescriptionKendi has tall narrow neck with flared rim below mouth. Bulbous body has mammiform spout on one side, tapered foot. Design consists of scrollwork on neck rim, birds on flowering branches on neck, petal lappets on shoulders. Body has design of flying, standing, and swimming water birds among plants. Spout has two Buddhist lozenges and two wheels around it. On bottom is underglaze blue shop mark.
