DescriptionUnglazed pottery kendi with mammiform spout. Squat kendi has high narrow neck, disc-like flare at mouth, ridge around neck just above shoulder, slightly flaring high foot. Flat bottom. Piece unglazed, body brown with darker brown and black discoloration. Mammiform spout and body have vertical incised lines, several incised lines encircle shoulder and above foot.
