Description"Crown Milano" lamp in four sections. The bottom section is blown opaque white glass with an acid finish and a small applied base of the same glass. The vase-shaped piece has a long narrow neck and is decorated with numerous painted flowers and leaves. Around the top of the neck is a band of gold scrollwork and above the band the neck is tan. The rim and base are gilded. The round central section is of blown opaque white glass with an acid finish and decorated with a floral design. For holding the kerosene, on the bottom glass knob of the section is a metal fitting that fits into the bottom section of the lamp. Attached to the top is a metal collar. The fixture with the wick screws into the collar. The dome shade is of blown opaque white glass with an acid finish. Painted on the front and back are two flower clusters. Around the shoulder is heavy gold scrollwork. The top is light brown and the rim is gilded.Published ReferencesBetty B. Sisk, _Mt.
