DescriptionLarge round bottomed rimmed jar of very soft earthenware. Body is bulbous with a beaten rope pattern decoration over all. A narrow incised line encircles body 11 times from shoulder to mid-body. Body probably not wheel thrown but neck and mouth are turned. High relief line encircles mouth on exterior, no design on neck. Dark firemark on one side with adjacent ochre patch.
