DescriptionHigh shouldered jar decorated in overglaze iron red and green and yellow enamels. Peony and foliage designs in two registers: one on shoulder with red ground, the other on body with green ground. Flowers are red with yellow centers. Small band with red stars separate registers. Band of rectangular sections in red encircle foot. Body burnt tan where exposed. Bottom unglazed and grey-brown. Very low foot rim. Heavily potted.
