DescriptionBlown (in four-section mold) blue opaline in shape suggesting a Roman pine cone finial. Ovoid with elliptical hobnail-like projections, smooth spool-shaped neck attached to brass fitting; tip of finial ground flat and polished. Brass is cast and lathe turned in urn shape with hole to receive rod. Cavity stuffed with bits of cloth to hold rod.
