DescriptionOil on canvas painting of the Seminole chief Osceola. He stands with a rifle in a creek landscape; palm and other trees are scattered behind him. He wears elaborate dress with a blue sash around his waist and calves, red pants with gold buttons up the front, and a black and white feather hat.
