DescriptionPainted plain weave cotton fragment showing interlocking serpent motif traceable to Veru and Moche. Heads of blue, rose, yellow, tan and red-brown outlined in dark brown. Selvedge edge has brown and tan striped border. Part of "false shirt" mummy wrapping. One selvedge and one end. At one time tucked or turned under. UV plexiglass covering, 6/80.
